GK Naturals – Bath Salts – Himalayan Rose – PR

Bath Salts

A relaxing mix of pink Himalayan salt and rose petals with essential oils.

I was gifted this from GK Naturals in return for my honest review on this product – so here it is!

As you guys know I am a huge bath lover – I get numerous bath bombs and goodies to have a bath pretty much daily, so I was extremely excited to try this mix of pink Himalayan Rock Salt and luxurious rose petals.

If you’re unfamiliar with why people like bath salts, they’re primarily used for detoxing the body and for re-balancing pH levels. This amazing bath salt collection boasts additional essential oils and rose petals to push this bath from being just detoxifying to pure luxurious!

This bath salt contains Lavender, Orange and Geranium essential oils from only the best  sources. The oils are all natural and contain no animal by-products, and the company is anti animal cruelty and animal testing.

Bottom Line: A detoxifying and relaxing mix of Himalayan Bath Salts with natural essential oils.

Mini Break in Bath, UK!

FullSizeRender_3

As a few of you may have seen on my social media accounts, I was able to take a mini break in the historic city of Bath. I stayed at the No. 15 Great Pulteney hotel in the Henrietta Junior Suite that provided excellent views over Henrietta Park. The hotel was lovely- it’s a newly opened, boutique 5* hotel situated inside the magnificent Bath Spa area of the city. Our Junior Suite boasted a king sized bed and a massive TV with Sky Digital inclusive, which appeased the film lover in me, as well as a built in Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. Our floor had a fully stocked larder which was brimming with complementary bottled drinks, ice cream, snacks and chocolate – it was incredible.

We took a walk around Bath which was absolutely stunning. We were incredibly lucky that we managed to go at a time where it wasn’t that cold for the UK in March, which was a lovely surprise. We made sure to visit the Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths, as I am a bit of a history and archaeology nerd…

The Roman Baths were so beautiful, and it was incredibly interesting learning about the history of the springs that filled them with the so called “healing water”.  We got the chance to drink some of it at the end of the museum – surprisingly the water was warm and it was not nice at all…

After spending the day at the Roman Baths we decided to walk around the Bath Spa shopping area – to which in my true fashion I found their Lush shop. After splurging out on a few new bath bombs – Dragon Egg and Golden Egg – I headed back to our hotel to give the bath tub a go.

Lush – In Your Dreams – Unicorn Horn and Cupid – Valentines 2017

fullsizerender_22

A beautiful Valentines Day gift set for bath lovers.

This adorable gift set comes neatly wrapped in vibrant pink, blue and gold Cupid print paper embellished with a gold bow. Inside there is a bubble bar and bath bomb, Unicorn Horn and Cupid, which are carefully cradled in the box by Lush’s biodegradable starch puffs.

I was very eager to get my hands on it for Unicorn Horn since it was rumoured to come back for Valentines Day, as you guys know how much I love Unicorns…

Unicorn Horn smells unbelievably sweet with a hint of relaxing Lavender and Cupid smells fruity and floral.  Cupid delivered a beautiful pink tinged bath with hot pink foam which engulfed my bathroom in a beautiful aroma of raspberry and roses. It left my skin feeling soft and not oily even though it contained bergamot oil – and it didn’t stain anything!

Unicorn Horn gave me a gorgeous lilac coloured bubble bath with glitter and shimmer galore!  The bath smelt sweet and cheerful and gave a beautiful purple/pink colour to the water. It didn’t leave any oily residue which is always a plus!
