I was very lucky to have Mask Time to reach out to me, and help me share in their new subscription box showing off the new South Korean skincare range from 9CC – Please note I was gifted this subscription box complimentary and paid to feature a review on my website.

The first thing that struck me regarding Mask Time was their wide selection of gift boxes – it’s not just a one size fits all kind of deal; they have a variety of boxes to suit every budget, every skin type and every personality.

Mask Time have different tiers of boxes, ranging from their £9.95 – Glow Starter box, which is their basic, to their £24.99 – Glow Setter box which contains more full size goodies. Each box has a variety of exclusive South Korean masks ranging from Fibre Masks, Peel Masks and Wash Off masks. These boxes are designed to easily fit through most letterboxes so you can order them and not have to worry about a trip to the post office if you were out!

The box I was sent was their special collaboration with the brand 9CC (Nine Changeless Champion) which contained an 100ml foam cleanser, an 100ml water drops cream, and three fibre face masks. As the products are Korean, they included a handy guide in English to instruct on how to use your new skincare goodies, along with some of their tips! Included with the products is a guide about the brand, and how its making waves in the beauty world with their products that are powered by the energy of the South Korean Sea.

My first impressions of the products included were how they were full sized, and the quality of them. The fibre masks were thick, not the usual thin “tissue-paper” material with a hydrating and non sticky serum. The foaming cleanser has a iridescent sheen and cleansed my skin without leaving it feeling exposed or dry. The water drop cream had more of a balm appearance, but instantly dispersed into tiny droplets as the name suggested. Mask Time included a guide on how to categorise your skin from the drops appearance. They are very attentive to their customers and ensure we receive in-depth information regarding the products they include in their boxes – which I have found to be unique as I often find subscriptions boxes seem like a jumble sale of uncoordinated items, whereas these are curated regarding the items included.

Overall I would say this would be a brilliant subscription to have – the items included are quality items, full sized and not discontinued bits-n-bobs that were cheap to throw together you find in other subscription boxes. The variety of prices make them a budget friendly treat, and Mask Time also have their own online store where they sell individual Korean skincare masks and items, so if you don’t want to have a box – you can always pick up a single mask from their store!

Bottom Line: A brilliant box to explore Korean sheet masks and more!

Price: Subscriptions start from £9.95 a month, at Mask Time, or you can purchase individual items from their store!
