Experience TGI Friday’s Christmas Menu: Festive Cocktails and Delectable Dishes | Review – PR Event

I was so excited to be invited by TGI Friday’s to get my Festive Feelings on and to try out their new Christmas menu, which officially launched on the 7th November.

On Friday, I was invited to explore and review the brand new Christmas menu at my local TGI Friday’s restaurant at the BH2 Complex in Bournemouth!

TGI Friday’s is offering this festive period a two course meal consisting of a yummy appetizer and a delicious main for £24.95!

Their festive menu has a lot to offer in keeping with their flair for all things American, Legendary Glazes, and cocktails with extra pizzazz which will certainly get you celebrating Christmas in delicious style!

To start out, we were brought out some Cajun Spiced Duros with a side of Salsa. Duros are fried, puffed bits of wheat which are then seasoned with a Cajun spice mix. These were delicious and the perfect snack to have whilst we waited for our appetizers, they were light and had a mild punch of flavour.

After the tasty duros bites, out came our decadent cocktails and yummy appetizers!

For Christmas they have released four festive themed cocktails; the Raspberry Refresher, The Bailey’s Chocolate Martini, the ever classic Kir Royale, and last but definitely not least the Lynchberg Lemonade – a fun mix of Jack Daniels, Cointreau, lemon and lime.

I had their Raspberry Refresher which is a stunningly sweet and refreshing mocktail. My bestie decided to indulge with their Bailey’s Choc Martini, a decadent mix of vodka, Bailey’s, milk, chocolate sauce and garnished with a crushed flake. Very luxurious!

The cocktails were exactly what I needed to get into a festive spirit. They were delicious and not sickly, making them the perfect dinner accompaniment.

Our appetizers were phenomenal – we decided to get one of each, their mozzarella dippers (cause who can deny the stretchy, gooey cheese) and their Fridays™ Sesame Chicken Strips, which are tossed in their Legendary Glaze and garnished with toasted sesame seeds.

If you’re out of the loop on their Legendary Glaze, it is a tantalizing concoction which is reminiscent of a teriyaki sweet but devilishly deep sauce with a sticky and tangy punch.

It’s also one of TGI Friday’s top secrets,
so you have to try it in the flesh!

The mozzarella dippers came with a slightly punchy salsa, adding a wonderful warmth to compliment the gooey cheese, and their Fridays™ Sesame Chicken Strips, had a sweet and deep flavour and came with a small side salad. These were so yummy, and really great quality as well as portion size – allowing us to pick and mix to our heart’s were content.

For the mains, I went for their Festive New York Strip with a side of their unbelievable seasoned fries and peppercorn sauce.

My best friend went for the Fridays™ Festive Glazed Chicken Burger, which was served with a stuffing ball on top, making it the star on top of the Christmas tree burger!

My steak was cooked to perfection as a medium-rare, and came with a grilled mushroom and tomato on the side, and garnished with some parsnip crisps. I decided to go for their peppercorn sauce to drizzle on top, which added a creamy, peppery punch and warmth to the dish.

My best friends chicken burger was cooked brilliantly too, making it moist and delicious, accompanied with fresh crisp lettuce, melted Monterrey jack cheese with a side of their house fries. The stuffing ball on top was also drizzled in their Legendary Glaze making it a delicious bite.

This two course meal was beautiful offered us a filling, festive fun night out!
But we couldn’t go home without a sweet treat…

In keeping with all things Christmas, TGI Friday’s have sweet treats to offer a holiday feeling such as their Festive Pudding Sundae, a Christmas Pud topped with custard and served with a side of vanilla ice cream, cherry compote and toasted mallow!

For those with bigger sweet tooth appetites they have their Fridays™ Fave Dessert Platter, a selection of Fridays™ favourite desserts; Chocolate Fudge Fixation, Honeycomb Cheesecake and Apple Crumble Pie, drizzled in chocolate and caramel sauces. (I am drooling whilst typing this…)

Of course we decided to share the dessert platter – which they really weren’t kidding could easily fulfil three peoples desire for something sweet!

So if you’re looking for a delicious Christmas meal out to celebrate for yourself, the girlies or the family –
