If you’re looking for a spot to grab a roast dinner this autumn, Pöst might be the place for you!

On Sunday, I was invited to stop by to review the roast dinners available from Pöst, on Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth!
Pöst offer a two and three course Roast Klub costing from £23. As part of this offering you’re able to get a delightful appetizer, roast or main, and a dessert!
For my appetizer I decided to go for their freshly baked pretzel with a side of their Bier cheese dip! They also offer an array of other freshly baked breads as part of their Haus Bread appetizer!
The pretzel was so flavoursome and paired deliciously with the Bier cheese dip – if you’re even just popping in for a Bier on the weekend – do order one, you will not regret it!
For my main I decided to order the Roast Beef dinner which comes with seasonal root vegetables, roast potatoes, steamed greens, homemade Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy.
The beef was cooked to perfection, just a little hint of pink which I love, and the roasties were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle!
The seasonal veg was roasted perfectly and the greens steamed well as they still had some firmness to them. No one likes mushy greens!
They also have chicken, pork knuckle and vegan options for their roasts to cater to everyone!

My only one grumble is that my roast came with the gravy on already – which meant my Yorkshire Pudding was a bit on the soggier side of things!
My bestie went for their Chicken Schnitzel Caesar Salad which was very generous with their portion size, and the chicken was cooked well making it crispy but moist! We also had a side of their Mac and Cheese to share – which was very, very cheesy! So cheesy!
Even if you don’t go for the roast, they have a wide range of other options to offer from Bratwursts to Schnitzels, and Burgers Galore! You can certainly find something to indulge in whilst you relax with a stein of cold Bier!
