Anastasia Beverly Hills has been a defining name in the makeup space for years, known for its rich pigmentation and signature formulas.
As a longtime fan of the brand, I couldn’t resist revisiting this iconic palette to see how it holds up now. After using it consistently, here’s my honest take on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette.
Anastasia Beverly Hills has always delivered when it comes to pigment and performance —
…with the exception of Subculture — which we all remember.
The Soft Glam Palette remains one of their most recognisable releases, offering a wearable mix of mattes and soft metallics.
Revisiting it now, I was curious to see whether the current version still reflects the original formula — and whether it’s still worth it today.

The palette itself feels elevated but practical — a rose gold exterior with 14 shades that move between soft neutrals and deeper, warmer tones. It’s one of those palettes that doesn’t try too hard, but still covers everything you need.
Texture-wise, it still delivers. The shadows are smooth, pigmented, and easy to work with — very reminiscent of the original ABH formulas pre-Subculture.

Highly pigmented, easy to blend, and still reliable.
The mattes build seamlessly, while the shimmers add that soft metallic finish without overpowering the look.
For everyday wear, I found myself reaching for lighter tones like Tempera and Orange Soda, adding depth with Sultry.
For something more elevated, deeper tones like Rustic and Cyprus Umber create a more defined, evening look — balanced with Fairy or Glistening to soften and brighten.
It’s one of those palettes that quietly earns its place — again and again.
There’s a reason Soft Glam has remained relevant. It’s versatile without being overwhelming, and dependable without feeling dated.
Bottom line: If you’re building a curated makeup collection — or returning to staples that actually perform — this is still one to consider.
