A stunning collection of five shades to create dreamy day looks!
As you know from my Beauty Beam highlighter palette review from the new Urban Decay and Kristen Leanne collaboration, I was very excited for these palettes! I snapped up this Daydream palette so I had a one stop palette for day looks, as the neutral and muted tones are perfect for pretty, subtle day looks.
The packaging on this palette is adorable, with the front looking like pink frosting. The inside is a beautiful baby blue and teal, with pink roses – painting an adorable rose garden imagery.
The shades in this palette are all matte, and come in a variety of neutral base and transition shades with a lovely dark shade, Eight, that makes a wonderful eyeliner for days when I’m not wanting a dark cat eyeliner look.
Lucy is a beautiful, bright white shade for highlighting the brow bone and laying a foundation to make the other colours pop! Daydream is a stunning, all over base for eyelids to create definition. 12/12 is a stunning salmon pink matte shadow that is easy to build pigmentation on, whereas Subscribe is a light brown with yellow tone, that is perfect for defining your crease.
The other three shades are perfect for creating your own unique take with the shades – you can go pretty in pink with 12/12, bronzed goddess with Subscribe, or smokey siren with Eight. You can also use Eight to turn your day look into a night look.
With this palette you also get an adorable mini blue double ended brush to help you create your looks! One end is a fluffy, pointed blending brush whereas the other end is a stubby, fluffy brush to pack on the colour and blend it out.
Bottom Line: A quintet of beautiful, matte eye shadows to create dreamy, day ready looks.
