Guildford Harbour Hotel really is the ideal place to stay if you’re visiting this picturesque town.
My hotel room came with a humongous bed, allowing me to sprawl out after my long days.
I especially enjoyed when I returned from Megan Thee Stallion gig in the early hours of the morning.
My room came with a Nespresso machine and a mini fridge, this was super handy for me to stock up with some sweet treats and snacks for the evenings. The bathroom is roomy and came with a rainfall shower and a deep bathtub.
Included in my room was breakfast, which allowed me to start my day with some warm, freshly baked pastries! But they do boast a great full English Breakfast.
I decided to treat myself to some room service French fries as well during my stay, as they offer a quick, convenient menu to enjoy in the comfort of your own room – which can be found on your in room TV.

It really is a vibe eating fries whilst watching Netflix in cosy bed in a comfy air-conditioned room!
Overall my stay at this hotel was so comfortable and I really felt at home, especially returning to my room each evening to find it all neatly reset and cleaned.
This time I was sadly too busy to take full advantage of their @elemis_uki spa and treatments, but hope to return in the future to experience this! This hotel also offers a gym as well as paid onsite parking which you can take advantage of by asking the reception for details.
However, there is a lot more to do and explore away from the hotel whilst visiting Guildford!

You can shop till you drop on the High Street – where they boast an awesome array of luxury brands and stores, such as Space N.K., Free People, NEOM Organics, Le Creuset and many, many more!
Once you’ve finished shopping you can enjoy a quick pastry in Ole & Steen, or drop in to Megan’s by the Castle for a delightful lunch.
Even dine out in the evening in Harbour’s own HarBar or The Ivy Asia!
If shopping isn’t your thing – the area surrounding Guildford and the hotel boasts lovely walking routes especially along the canal – with wonderful pubs scattered along the route for some mid-walk refreshments.

If you’re looking for some entertainment during your stay, conveniently found around the corner to the Harbour Hotel is the G.Live, Guildford live music and entertainment hub!

Here you can catch the latest plays, comedy acts and musicians that are stopping in Guildford.
No matter what your guilty pleasure is – Guildford is a town that has a lot to offer, and staying right in the centre helps open up all the possibilities on how you enjoy your staycation!
