Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector: A Game-Changing Product for Flawless Under Eyes | Review – PR Gifted

August 31, 2024April 30, 2026

“Huda Beauty is a well-known brand in the beauty industry, founded by the beauty blogger turned mogul Huda Kattan!“

Their products, from makeup to skincare, have gained a loyal following all over the world. One of Huda’s most popular products is the Easy Bake Setting Powder, a loose setting powder that promises to give a flawless finish to any makeup look due to the finely milled recipe.

But this new revolutionary Huda Beauty product has also taken the beauty world by storm!

This new colour corrector promises to cover imperfections and give you a radiant complexion without caking or creasing.

But does it live up to the hype? Let’s me find out for you.

Many of us struggle with skin imperfections, such as acne scars or dark spots, that can be difficult to cover up with just foundation alone. This is where colour correctors come in.

By using a colour corrector in the specific shade needed to counteract the discoloration, you can effectively neutralize the area and create a more even canvas for your foundation. In addition to correcting skin imperfections, colour correctors can also help address common skin concerns.

For example, those with redness-prone skin can use a green colour corrector to cancel out the redness and create a more balanced complexion. Similarly, those with dark under-eye circles can use a peach or orange colour corrector to brighten and conceal the darkness before applying concealer. This is where the Huda Beauty #Faux Filter Color Corrector comes into play!

Available in four different shades of peachy oranges – from the lightest Pink Pomelo to the darkest Papaya, these colour correctors are perfect for combating your dark under-eyes!

Instead of layering on multiple products to cover up imperfections, using a colour corrector can effectively target the area and minimize the need for heavy makeup. This is especially useful for those of you with sensitive or acne-prone skin, as you may not want to use too many products on your face.

Some colour correctors on the market claim to be “one-size-fits-all” solutions, but we all know that every skin is unique and has different colour needs. Huda has always been an advocate for inclusivity in the beauty industry, and this is evident in the shade range of her products.

She wanted to make sure that every person, regardless of their skin tone, were able to use her products and feel beautiful.

After trying out numerous colour correctors in the past, I have finally found my holy grail product for combating my under-eye area – the #Faux Filter Color Corrector. This game-changing product has completely transformed my makeup routine and has become a staple in my collection. I believe the #Faux Filter Color Corrector is a must-have for anyone looking to achieve flawless, airbrushed-looking skin.

My only negative -which is totally my fault – is to make sure you pick the correct shade! I got this in Mango but I think Pink Pomelo would have been more my shade, which would make it a lot more seamless!

My post-pilates showers have been feeling a little more elevated lately thanks to the @rehabyourhair Dose Energise Body Oil ✨ My hair has been needing a proper reset lately, and the Ouai Detox Shampoo has firmly become one of those staples I keep reaching for. #ad | pr invite There’s something about warm tones, gold details, and a simple setup that just feels put together without trying too hard. I’ve been using the Kylie Cosmetics’ Baddie On The Block blush lately, and it’s such a moment. My skincare routine has been leaning on the Dermalogica UltraCalming Mist lately - one of those staples I didn’t realise I needed. A Day at the Museum! 🥰💕 I’m scared to utter the words incase I cause it to hide - but I am really enjoying the sun this week! 🥰☀️ My skincare routine has been leaning heavily on @dieuxskin ’s Air Angel & Instant Angel lately - they’ve genuinely become two of my go-to staples. 🥰 I’ve been reaching for Le Labo’s Thé Matcha 26 daily, and it’s quickly becoming my signature scent. 💚🍵 {#ad | pr invite} An afternoon steeped in Regency elegance at @burleymanor and I’m still not over it… 🫖✨ ✨🌙
