With its picturesque beach views and vibrant atmosphere, it’s no wonder that South Beach at The Nici, in Bournemouth has become a popular destination for food lovers.
Located in the heart of the popular beach town, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience that combines delicious food with a beautiful backdrop.
As a self-proclaimed foodie, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to indulge in the tempting dishes at this renowned establishment.
And let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

Located on the stunning coastline of Bournemouth, South Beach at The Nici offers a unique and unforgettable dining experience. As you step inside, you are immediately welcomed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, with its modern décor and breath-taking views of the ocean.
The South Beach restaurant boasts a diverse A La Carte menu, featuring a selection of locally sourced cuisine. From fresh seafood dishes to hearty steaks, there is something for every palate. Each dish is carefully crafted using only the finest and freshest ingredients, ensuring a dining experience like no other.

But it’s not just the food that makes South Beach restaurant stand out.
The service is impeccable, with friendly and accommodating staff ready to cater to your every need and answer any queries.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, quick lunch or just looking for a evening dinner, the team at South Beach will make sure you have a memorable and enjoyable time.
In addition to the main inside dining area, South Beach also offers a stunning terrace overlooking their outside pool, perfect for al fresco dining on a warm summer day.
And for those who want to extend their stay, the restaurant also has the luxurious Nici hotel attached, making it a perfect destination for a weekend getaway.
I decided to indulge in their midweek set menu which offers you two courses for £22 or three courses for £27. As I was staying at the hotel for a Spa day, which I will be covering in another blog post, I decided to opt for the two courses to keep my meal light before my spa treatments, and if you know me well by now – you know I had the main and dessert!
For my main course I had the Pea and Shallot Ravioli which is their vegan main option. It came in a truffle dressing with a watercress garnish. As soon as I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat.
The ravioli was perfectly cooked, the pasta al dente and the flavoursome pea and shallot filling was fresh and delicious. The accompanying truffle dressing added a burst of flavour to each bite, complimenting the filling without overpowering the dish.
I ordered separately a portion of their Parmesan and truffle fries – as we all know a crisp, ice cold coke and fries is the ultimate self care.

I couldn’t resist finishing it all as it was so delicious, even though I knew I had to save room for the dessert. For my dessert I chose their Almond Panna Cotta, which comes with a tea dressing and honey poached apricots.

There is something so refreshing to a cold panna cotta on a warm summers day, and the honey poached apricots added a fruity, warm sweetness.
As I savoured each bite, I couldn’t help but notice the attention to detail in each dish.
The presentation was impeccable, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.
It was no wonder that these dishes were the restaurant’s signature dishes for their midweek guests.
Overall, my experience dining at South Beach restaurant at The Nici Bournemouth was nothing short of amazing.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and energetic, with a modern and chic décor that made me feel like I was on a beach vacation. As for the food, I have to say it was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The menu’s both offered a variety of options, from fresh seafood to juicy steaks and creative vegetarian dishes.
Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. It was clear that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into their dishes, using locally sourced and high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend dining at South Beach restaurant at the Nici Bournemouth. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and I can’t wait to go back.
