Huda Kattan, founder of the popular makeup brand Huda Beauty, has always been known for her creativity and innovation in the beauty industry. So when she announced a few years ago the release of a new product, beauty enthusiasts were eager to get their hands on it, and this news created a huge buzz in the makeup community.
The Easy Bake Setting Powder promised to be a game changer in the world of makeup.
Huda claimed that it would give the skin a flawless finish, without looking cakey or heavy. This was, and still is, a common problem with many setting powders in the market, and Huda was determined to change that with her new product upon the rise of the ‘baking’ makeup trend.
The Easy Bake Setting Powder comes in a vegan formula with eight different shades, and I was kindly gifted one of their newer shades – Peach Pie to test. These different shades cater to a wide range of skin tones and undertones – to allow you to fully customised your makeup look. Huda has always been an advocate for inclusivity in the beauty industry, and this is evident in the shade range of her products.
She wanted to make sure that every person, regardless of their skin tone, were able to use her products and feel beautiful.
The packaging of the Easy Bake Setting Powder is also unique and unlike any other setting powder in the market.
It comes in a sleek, rectangular jar with a sifter lid, making it easy to control the amount of product that comes out.
Although it has been announced that she is currently re-doing the packaging which is causing quite the stir in the beauty world.
This setting powder is perfect for baking and setting make up due to it being finely milled and packed with Vitamin-E, so that it really does hold your makeup in place all day for a natural and airbrushed finish!
As the powder is finely milled, this allows it to blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, whilst also controlling shine allowing it to blend seamlessly into your skin! It is also packed with superfine pigments, the powder works to subtly colour correct and highlight different contours of the face, leaving a translucent veil of colour on your skin – so be sure to check out the many options to see which suits you the best!
