VIEVE Skin Dew Liquid Highlighter: Silky Soft Formula for Customizable Makeup Intensity

I’ve been very interested in this brand since it dropped. If you’ve missed it – VIEVE is the beauty brainchild from Jamie Genevieve, a make up maestro to the stars.

Taking inspiration from her name, VIEVE also means ‘full of life’ making it a brand that empowers, encourages self-belief and delivers lashings of confidence!

My first impression of this liquid highlighter is that it’s silky soft to use and layer on top of makeup.

It also mixes brilliantly with other serums and moisturisers, without peeling or issues. I like to use this with my moisturiser to create a glowy base for my makeup free days.

I also enjoy using this on top of my foundation – before powder- as my highlighter, but sparingly. This liquid highlighter contains a lot of pigment so it’s easy to customise for what kind of product payoff you want!

As you can see from my swatches, you can use as little or as much as you want to create your own intensity.

I would really recommend applying it to your hand and using your fingers/brush/sponge to apply it instead of directly on the skin – as you have better control with this formula this way.

The heat from your hand also allows you to thin it out – rather than straight from the tube.

Bottom Line: I love how versatile this product is – if used correctly it can give a lovely subtle glow but allows you to build coverage quickly without using too much. Only downside is – be careful you don’t over do it… it is really THAT pigmented.
