Urban Decay: Summer-Proof Your Makeup with Ultra Matte Edition for Oily Skin

Protect your makeup from the heat this summer!

With the weather getting hotter, I have been on a mission to save my makeup and my skin from the incoming sweaty season and prevent my smeared mascara!

I have also tried Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Pressed Powder to help set my makeup, you can find my review of it here!

I have previously used Urban Decay’s All Nighter standard edition which sets my makeup perfectly during the colder winter months, but loses its charm when the weather turns warm.

This is why I decided to buy the Ultra Matte edition which is meant to keep you super duper matte – and it doesn’t disappoint!

This spray really keeps my skin looking matte even after using a very dewy moisturiser!

I like to spray this over my face in a ‘+’ and ‘x’ formation to cover every inch making sure every part of my makeup is covered.

Another way I like to use this, is if I am going for a generally glowy look so do want an extra dewy base, is by spraying it onto a damp beauty blender and applying directly onto the spots I will need it the most.

I found that sitting out under the sun whilst enjoying my lunch -my makeup still stayed flawless and I didn’t have any shine which I usually get from the heat!

Bottom Line: Okay, this really upped its game with how matte it kept my makeup during my 3hrs in the baking Bournemouth sun! A must have for your makeup, and beach bags!
