First Time HydraFacial + Boost: A Detailed Experience of Beauty Sculpting Room in Poole | Review – PR Event

I was invited along to experience getting a Hydrafacial for the first time at the Beauty Sculpting Room in Poole!

I’ve tried my fair share of salons and techniques in my career as a beauty blogger, and this time I decided to try out this new advanced facial treatment of the HydraFacial, and I couldn’t wait to share my experience with others through this review.

I understand that when it comes to pampering ourselves and achieving the perfect pampering day, finding the right salon for your services is crucial. With so many options available, it can be overwhelming to choose the best place to have your pamper session.

So if you’re considering getting a facial any time soon, read on to see my honest thoughts on the process and the salon I visited.

Firstly – what is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is an advanced, non-invasive treatment promises to deliver clearer, more hydrated, younger-looking skin without the downtime typically associated with traditional facials or peels.

Not just a facial, but a holistic experience, the HydraFacial boasts a unique process that provides multiple benefits for various skin types.

I was warmly greeted when I arrived at the salon and took a seat in their stylish waiting area as I was running a bit early for my appointment. I was collected by Elishia, who introduced herself to me as my therapist for this treatment, and was led upstairs to their treatment room.

I absolutely adored the exotic theme of the room – a large tiger mural on the wall and wooden furniture with gold items adorning the shelves – really helped transport me away for my treatment.

I was told to make myself comfortable on the bed and Elishia would be back in shortly to start my treatment.

Once comfortable – we then discussed my skin issues and what I would like from the treatment.

To start, my face was cleansed and massaged which helped me relax ahead of the more advanced parts of the treatment.

I was so relaxed during this whole experience – I was told what each step would be before it happened – and asked how I was feeling during each new step to ensure I was comfortable.

We started with the Hydradermabrasion which helps deliver a gentler but deeper exfoliation using their patented Vortex-Fusion. This system allows the treatment to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and impurities, giving your face an instant refreshed look.

After the exfoliation process, this exciting system then infuses the skin with moisturizing and rejuvenating serums tailored to specific skin needs – targeting your personal issues in a bespoke treatment. This ensures that the skin not only looks clean but feels revitalized and nourished.

The next step is Hydrogen Infusion therapy, this part utilises hydrogen-infused water – which has been shown to be 174 times more potent than Vitamin C – to cleanse and hydrate the skin. It’s able to do this due to the power of molecular hydrogen, which is known for its potent antioxidant properties, to combat free radicals and provide deep skin rejuvenation.

After the Hydrogen Infusion therapy – we moved on to Electroporation.

Now this was a fun step – using electrical pulses to create microscopic channels in the skin, this allows the skincare products to penetrate deeper and more effectively.

This makes it similar to microneedling – but without the needles – making it completely pain free.

All I felt was a slight tingle effect which was pleasant!

During this stage of the treatment it also utilises LED treatment – you can choose from Red, Blue or Purple (combined) LED for this part.

Blue helps with acne and Red helps to promote collagen production! I went with the combined LED due to wanting to target both of these areas.

This next step was another fun part of the treatment which I thoroughly enjoyed – electrical muscle stimulation!

Also known as a non-invasive facelift, it is a treatment that uses electrical currents to tone and tighten the face.

Microcurrent facials can help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, especially around the forehead, as well as help release chronic facial tension and give the skin a relaxed, glowing appearance.

The last step in the treatment is Microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion is a minimally invasive procedure to remove the uppermost layer of skin from your face or body. It can help improve the appearance of your skin and minimize wrinkles, age spots or other minor cosmetic concerns.

One of the significant advantages of getting a HydraFacial is the lack of downtime post-treatment. While other skin treatments I have had, has left my skin red or irritated, I was immediately able to carry on with my day after the HydraFacial, even attending an afternoon tea with my friends!

Overall, my experience with the HydraFacial was fantastic. From the friendly and skilled technician to the quality and results of this new advanced facial system, I was thoroughly impressed!
