As you are aware, I am a huge fan of BYREDO and their scents – with Mojave Ghost being my favourite. Previously I have chucked the Mojave Ghost body wash in as an extra treat into my order, but decided to on my next order try out their perfumed oil!

Mojave Ghost is a woody fragrance from the Byredo luxury fragrance collection, inspired by the soulful beauty of the Mojave Desert.

With a light and graceful character top notes of musky Ambrette combine with fresh Jamaican Nesberry. Powdery Violet then unfurls to reveal Sandalwood.

Finally warm Chantilly Musk rounds out a base of crisp Amber and Cedar wood, leaving the raw spirit of Mojave Ghost to linger on the skin.

I have had Mojave Ghost in their normal perfume spray but wanted something that could easily fit in my handbag – but also keep my scent lasting longer than usual.

Their perfumed oil piqued my interest as it promises “a simple, roll-on application and alcohol-free formula is designed to provide long-lasting scent, reaching sensory zones such as pulse points for a cool and soothing effect.” which made me eager to elevate my perfume experience!

The scent lasted a lot longer on my skin when using the perfumed oil as opposed to their perfume spray which made each application last longer – which is handy when the perfumed oil is only 7.5ml in size.

I was worried about the fact it is an oil and that it would cause breakouts or leave my skin greasy, but it absorbed quickly and didn’t leave marks on my clothes!

Another plus is that the fragrance now can slip into my purse in a handy travel sized roll-on making my perfume applications easier during the day, during work or even after my gym sessions. I am really glad I took the plunge to try this perfumed oil, and will be looking at expanding my collection!
