“Inspired by the soulful beauty of the Mojave Desert!“
As you are aware, I am a huge fan of BYREDO and their scents – with Mojave Ghost being my favourite. I had an email alert about BYREDO’s new Mineralscapes eyeshadow, and thought I would chuck in an extra treat into my order – their Mojave Ghost body wash.
Mojave Ghost is a woody fragrance from the Byredo luxury fragrance collection, inspired by the soulful beauty of the Mojave Desert.
This body wash comes in an matte, clean aesthetic bottle, with a pump allowing for easy dispersing of the product meaning you don’t accidentally pour too much.
It smells exactly like the perfume, making this body wash perfect for layering as part of your skincare routine and finish with the fragrance.
Gentle enough for sensitive skin, this body cleanser creates a mild lather; cleansing your body leaving the delicious scent. I do wish it had a bigger lather like my OUAI body cleansers, but this body wash is more liquidy than my OUAI ones – making the pump extra handy so you don’t accidentally over-pour the product.
I use three pumps to be able to get lather from head to toe, ensuring the scent covers me from head-to-toe – it really is my absolute favourite fragrance and I am so glad I can literally bathe in it. This body wash is definitely more on the runny side compared to my other cleansers, making it easy to slide over my skin and easy to rinse off once the suds have cleansed away the day.
It cleanses well and it moisturises my skin whilst doing so – making me fresh and clean without my skin feeling dry and tight. If you’re looking for an elevated, luxurious spa level shower experience but at home – this will definitely be my first go to!

Bottom Line: The scent lingers on the skin after showering leaving you with the fresh scent making it perfect to layer under the perfume or on its own as a subtle fragrance. The only down side is the lather is a bit underwhelming, especially compared to my other designer/premium shower gels!
